Ramona S. Trillana
High School
Sto. Rosario, Hagonoy, Bulacan

Introduction:

The school was established in this part of the world to help our government and our people in attaining quality and functional education which is free and universal in character. It was envisioned by its founder, Mayor Ramona Santos Trillana to uplift the life of the poorest of the poor, in this portion of our beloved town of Hagonoy. In 1954, the school got its first name as Southern Institute which is just a small private institution owned by the Trillana Family. Later on, in the 1989, with the kind-hearted Nana Monang as she fondly referred to, donated the said school to the government to attain her missionary dream in alleviating the sufferings of her constituents through education. From that time on, the school marches on to what it is now, a friendly school giving quality education among the poor people of southern Hagonoy. However, in 1993, with the demise of our foundress it was again renamed, this time in honor of Mayor Ramona S. Trillana.
At the start, it was attached by the division to its mother school Iba National High School. Luckily, with the all out efforts of its present school finally granted its approval, separating it from Iba High School in 1996.
At this point in time, Mr. Antonio L. Tamayo, its principal, crafted this plan to enhance further the search of the school for excellence. He is aiming at this juncture to promote the kind of education being envisioned by our constitutionalist an education which is free, universal and par excellence. The planner wants to execute innovations and reforms to further improve the academic and physical aspects of the school.
